The Qoorbono according to the Antiochan Syriac Maronite Church

On this page we will provide you with the Qoorbono Prayers and Hymns, in the order that they appear during the Qoorbono.  Obviously we will not provide you with every different order of the Qoorbono depending on the Liturgical Season, for that you'll have to reference the "Ktobo dQoorbono" i.e. The Service of Offering.

The prayers will eventually be translated into English from Syriac. The prayers are presented in our mother tongue, the Syriac-Aramaic language. Syriac-Aramaic was spoken by Our Lord Jesus-Christ, Mary the Mother of God, and the disciples just as it was spoken thousands of years before their time in the region of Mesopotamia. Today this language is spoken by the following people (who are members of): the Syriac Orthodox Church, the Assyrian Church, the Syriac Catholic Church, the Chaldean Church, and the Syriac Maronite Church.  We will use the Karshouni (English letter transliteration of the Syriac) to help you in pronouncing the Syriac words.
