In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit One True God. Amen! Beith Souryoyé Morounoyé (BSM) was founded in 2003, as a private association of Christian faithful (1990 CCO - Canon 573§2), whose members are dedicated to live the received Apostolic Tradition according to the traditional custom of the Antiochan Syriac Maronites, to teach the Faith, to teach the Syriac language, and to make resources available to the faithful. Members of BSM seek to live according to the following words of Our Lord Jesus Christ: "I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no man comes to my Father except by me. (John 14:6)", through ascetic practice, through earnest prayer, through the practice of virtue in a heroic way assisted by God's grace, through contemplation, and through seeking divinisation, by placing their daily life under the saintly guidance and patronage of Saint Maron the Head of the Convent and Saint Charbel the Hermit, and by calling upon the prayer of the Holy Virgin Mary the Mother of God to be a fortress of protection for them. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, now and forever. Amen! |
